The Rotary Foundation transforms your gifts into service projects that change lives both close to home and around the world.

Since it was founded more than 100 years ago, the Foundation has spent more than $4 billion on life-changing, sustainable projects.

With your help, we can make lives better in your community and around the world.

Our mission

The Rotary Foundation helps Rotary members to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace by improving health, providing quality education, improving the environment, and alleviating poverty.

What impact can one donation have?

  • For as little as 60 cents, a child can be protected from polio.
  • $50 can provide clean water to help fight waterborne illness.
  • $500 can launch an antibullying campaign and create a safe environment for children.

The Rotary Club of Washington Township, New Jersey distributed over 500 dictionaries and reference books to third graders in the district's six elementary schools on Monday, December 16, 2024. The Dictionary Project’s mission is to ensure that everyone will be able to enjoy the benefits of owning a dictionary.  Since 2005,we have donated over 11,000 reference books to students. The goal of the program is to assist all students to become active readers, creative thinkers and great writers.

A special Thank You to Vince and Sue Esposito who have pioneered this project for almost 20 years!!

World Polio Day was established by Rotary International to commemorate the birth of Jonas Salk, who led the first team to develop a vaccine against poliomyelitis.
